Craft Marketing Co. is based in Oconee County, South Carolina. It exists because too many good local businesses here are invisible on Google while worse competitors take the calls.
Why this exists
Walk down Ram Cat Alley in Seneca, or Main Street in Walhalla, and you'll find businesses that are genuinely excellent at what they do — better tradespeople, better food, better service than any chain off the interstate. And a lot of them are losing work to competitors who are worse at the job but better at showing up on a phone screen.
That gap isn't a talent problem. It's a visibility problem. And it's fixable with work that isn't complicated, just consistent: a Google profile filled in properly, a site that says what you do and where, reviews asked for at the right moment, and listings that agree with each other. That's the work I do, and it's the only thing I sell.
How I work
I'm Josiah, I'm based here in Oconee County, and Craft Marketing Co. is deliberately small. When you hire me you're not getting an account manager who forwards your emails to a team in another time zone — you're getting the person doing the work, and a phone number that reaches him. That means fewer clients at once, but it also means nothing gets lost in translation, and I can come see your shop instead of guessing what you do from a website.
I start every relationship the same way: a free audit, then an honest phone call. I'd rather spend an hour telling you the truth about your market than sign you up for something that won't pay for itself. Pricing gets discussed on that call, based on what your situation actually needs — which is why you won't find a pricing table anywhere on this site.

The fundamentals of local search haven't changed much in a decade. They're just tedious, so most people skip them. I don't.
Say the true thing
If your market is too competitive for the budget, I'll tell you. If SEO won't pay for itself in your case, I'll talk you out of it. A client who trusts me is worth more than one month's invoice.
Own your own stuff
Every account, profile and listing goes in your name. You should never be stuck with someone because they're holding your keys.
Move fast, report plainly
Speed matters more than polish for most of this. You'll get honest updates in language you don't need translated.
